![]() I don't think this would work without fundamental changes to the entire automation system and to warp depots, or without involving players in the mind-boggling puzzles of this "backwards cascading + overflowing buffer" problem. Much worse, this can cause starvation on the other side for Vegetable types B, C, if Vegetable type A is not completely consumed (maybe you just aren't using type A fast enough, or maybe you have too many of type A being produced and being loaded into the Warp Depot? It would block Drone 1 from being able to do any work on subsequent types until Drone 2 has completely emptied the warp gate of whatever Vegetable Type comes before it (making the Target Group useless!) This is because warp depots have a capacity of one type of resource at once. The issue is that each Vegetable type would have to be moved in order of type, and wouldn't be able to proceed until the previous Vegetable type is completely used on the destination side. ![]() Available for PC, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Play Station 95K Members. The problems really start if you have multiple types within a single Target Group.Īssuming we are using two drones. Slime Rancher is the tale of Beatrix LeBeau, a plucky, young rancher who sets out for a life a thousand light years away from Earth on the Far, Far Range where she tries her hand at making a living wrangling slimes. But remember - Warp Gates have a limit of one item type! They do not warp groups of different item types at the same time! Perhaps this would be possible if items in a Target Group type could be queued until the Warp Gate has been emptied. Making matters worse, there are multiple individual Warp Depots that lead to different places, meaning you'd have to waste one drone per Destination Warp Depot, and one drone per Source Warp Depot. I suspect the developers would have have to raise the limit to 3 to make use of a warp gate (raising other questions of game balance?), because it's an entirely new source building type that would otherwise waste an entire second drone, which effectively adds up to wasting two drones to move only a single resource to its final destination among two expansions. ![]() ![]() There's an upper limit of 2 drones per expansion. ![]()
